The Reading Tree is a pre-primary school situated in Hiranandani Estate, Thane. It was founded in 2004 by Mrs. Sapna Chouhan, an Educational Psychologist. The curriculum is designed solely by her and concentrates on “Learning by doing”. 

Each child's needs are different as each child is an individual being.

At The Reading Tree, we understand and accept the immense responsibility of building a child's confidence. And we work hard towards laying the foundation of excellence by sowing the seeds of intellect at an early age, thereby nurturing young minds through cultural, human and moral values. We believe that each child is at a different threshold of learning.

The aim of the school is to have happy children who look forward to being in school, for preschool is the gateway to future learning.

The motto of The Reading Tree Pre-Primary School is "Of all the things that your child wears, his smile is the most important!" And we at “The Reading Tree” strive hard to maintain our motto.

The Reading Tree program is fluid and child centered. We encourage creativity and work on Education than Literacy.

Our Curriculum is age appropriate and designed to keep in mind the developmental readiness of the child. The environment is structured to provide a variety of experiences, minimize conflicts, encourage exploration and meet developmental needs. Socialization is encouraged and facilitated.
